Freedom to choose
The last 6 months have taken a toll and it is taking everything in my power to persevere. This season in my life, I am working on balance, goals, and my own transformation. This is the season that I want to give back and have a life of meaning. And then something out of my control happens that causes a distraction.
The last 6 months, I have had to make some tough decisions. The decisions impacted someone else and the situation has caused me to stress. The choices I have made were for the safety of someone I love. My choices have required research, loss of sleep, law intervention, and have kept on edge with worry because I had no idea what each day would hold. Take note, my word choice “caused me to stress”. Sometimes events in our lives create stress. How do you handle these situations?
Do you have family member that you love but they are making poor choices, they are lost, or they have no ambition? Do you have any addicts in your family that you do not know how to help?
We have the ability to make our own choices. We are influenced by outside factors, but ultimately, we have the right to choose. Why do let life happen and why do we just go through the motions? Why don’t we choose to live more intentional? My word of the year is Purpose. My song of the year is Keep Me In The Moment by Jeremy Camp. One of my favorite quotes is “Every single moment shapes our future. Be intentional. Live on purpose!” – Brian Tracy. Today, I choose to live a life with intention. My choice includes living a healthier lifestyle and empowering others to live a life of purpose.
Did you know, according to Google, that the average person makes 35,000 choices a day. When we are awake, we make an average of 2,000 decisions per hour or one decision every two seconds. No wonder there are times when I don’t want to make a choice of what to have for dinner.
We all have choices. I choose to live a better life. I do not have it all figured out, but I am trying. Is that wrong? I want my dash to mean something. I want to help others to become a better version of themselves. I want to live with purpose. Am I alone?
It takes work, consistency, and dedication. I am willing to put in the work. Are you? Let’s take this journey in life together. It is a journey. It is worth it. Life is an adventure. My heart tells me that I am not alone and there are others that are feeling stuck and need direction to find a life of purpose. We will walk through this journey one day at a time, one step at a time, and we will pursue a life of purpose. We can create a support team. What kind of life do you want to live? You have a choice.
